They also have a Staff sale where the coaches sell their new and used equipment. They also have tons of gear giveaways thanks to their sponsors. They have a talent show for all campers. They have a Huckleberry Jam for the best skater. There is a dance party for all campers. They also offer white water rafting and paintball. But the best part of High Cascade is the Cobra Dog.

High Cascade Snowboard Camp
The next summer camp we will talk about is High Cascade Snowboard camp. This camp is 100% snowboarding. They have two main parks designed for snowboarders. The first one is their main park. Here is a description from their website "More tricks have been learned, invented and enjoyed on this stretch of
snow than any other on Earth. Although you can lap this park on the
lift too – most choose to ride the rope-tows, and some folks even like
to hike specific features. No matter how you choose get up the hill,
you're gonna have a blast on the way down." Their second park is their lap park. Here is a description from their website "The Lap Park offers a continuous flow of fun size trick friendly jumps,
boxes, rails, and hips for all ability levels (and is served by a high
speed quad)." They also have a park designed just for beginners. Here is a description of that park; "We’ve teamed up with the revolutionary new Burton Snowboard Academy
to provide the most comprehensive learn to snowboard beginner program on
Earth. If you’re a camper, and you’re a beginner: you’re automatically in our Soft Start™ program – the comfiest spot at camp." Finally they have a skate park for when your not snowboarding. This is the description of their park. "Whether you’re learning to drop in on the Beginner Ramp or your winning the Huckleberry Jam™ -

MHSSC has its own private park for those enrolled in the camp. They have a description of what you can do and how their coaches can help. "Can't do a 360? Having trouble landing that 720? Our coaches can help! MHSSC operates it's own private park for freeskiers and snowboarders. The terrain park is shaped every day by our diggers to accommodate the campers’ individual learning goals. There are features for every level to provide a steady progression through to the week’s end. We have 3 large jumps of 20', 40' and 50' as well as a progression of small ones to help get the beginning freeskier into the air. We have a total of 13 rails, boxes and jib features to pick from; starting with the smallest ones early in the session and progressing to the bigger twisted ones later in the week. If you want to learn how to do rails and challenge yourself on a progression of rails and jumps, then our park on "Lower Cuervo" is the spot to be."(http://www.mthood.com/freeski.htm). This camp offers a great way to progress in skiing.
